Voice Note Hack to Help With Prospecting

Here’s a quick hack I want to share with you. Right now, the most powerful virtual tool you have is your phone. If you go on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn using your phone, you’re going to notice a feature that you might not have known about. You’ll find this feature in your inbox. It’s a little button at the bottom that allows you to record a voice message that you can send to who you’re speaking with.

Voice notes are very useful, especially when you’re prospecting. If you’ve never thought about replying to someone’s message that way, you may want to reconsider this option. When someone sends a personal voice note, that almost always means they took the time to look at your profile. And they will always say something of meaning. They’re probably not going to send something like, “Thanks! Bye!” right? It’s always going to be something meaningful that creates a level of intention that ultimately makes people think, “This person is somebody that I should be talking to.”

So, if you’ve got that extra energy and the extra time, why not take that 60 seconds to record that voice note on your phone? I guarantee that it’s going to make a huge difference.
