Let’s talk about your LinkedIn profile. When used correctly, LinkedIn can be a powerful marketing tool. However, a lot of people are leveraging it the wrong way. So, I’m here to tell you that there is a correct way to leverage LinkedIn to build your business.
One of the things you should do is to make sure that your profile is structured in a way that attracts your ideal customer. Most people use their profiles to showcase their capabilities. But if you want to make money on LinkedIn, you have to learn not to make your profile about yourself. It should be about your customer.
Next, consider your LinkedIn banner. If you want to differentiate yourself from the marketplace, you’re going to want to hire a professional graphic designer to provide you with something that stands out.
If you take a look at my profile, you’ll notice how it really stands out. Notice how my banner contains my personal brand name–the Marketing Clarity Doc–and not my company’s name. That’s how I like to structure my banners.
